What is the difference between Autel Robotics Care and the official aircraft warranty?

The official aircraft warranty covers problems caused by product quality defects and offers free repair or replacement during the warranty period as required by regional laws. Autel Robotics Care, on the other hand, is specifically designed for product loss or damage due to accidental events during normal use. If your product requires repair or replacement due to a quality issue under the standard warranty, it will not consume your replacement times or coverage limit under Autel Care.

What kind of product will I receive as a replacement unit?

Your replacement unit will be equivalent to a new product in terms of performance and reliability.

Which parts are covered for replacement or repair under Autel Care Service?

The service primarily covers the fuselage, gimbal, propellers, and batteries. Other parts are not supported. If any of the covered parts are missing from the aircraft you send back, they may not be covered under the replacement scope of Autel Care.

What if I want to purchase Autel Robotics Care but it has been more than 48 hours since activation?

You can still purchase Autel Robotics Care. You’ll need to contact Autel Robotics Customer Service for a functional inspection of your unit. If your drone passes this inspection, you will then be eligible to purchase Autel Care. This evaluation must be within one month from the aircraft activation date.

My aircraft's serial number changed after a replacement. Will the care service coverage period be recalculated?

No, the care service coverage period will not be recalculated. If your aircraft’s Serial Number (SN) changes due to a repair or replacement, the information will be synchronized with the system. The provided product will automatically bind to the original product’s Autel Care, and the validity of the original service and the warranty period of the original product will continue.

What is Autel Robotics Care Standard?

Autel Robotics Care Standard is a protection plan that offers a limited number of lower-cost replacements for accidental damage, including water damage and flyaways (for specific models). It also provides two-way free shipping in certain regions and faster replacement services.

What are the different Autel Robotics Care Standard plans available?

There are three main options:

  • Autel Care Standard (1st Year): Provides 1 year of coverage.
  • Autel Care Standard Extension (2nd Year): Extends coverage for an additional year after the 1st-year plan expires.
  • Autel Care Standard (2-Year Service): Offers 2 years of upfront coverage.

What is Autel Robotics Care Premium?

Autel Robotics Care Premium is a higher-tier protection plan offering unlimited free repairs or replacements within a set coverage limit. It includes benefits like water damage protection, two-way free shipping, coverage limit sharing for multiple aircraft, and extended aircraft warranty.

What are the different Autel Robotics Care Premium plans available?

  • Autel Care Premium (1st Year): Provides 1 year of coverage.
  • Autel Care Premium Extension (Second Year): Extends coverage for an additional year after the original Premium plan expires.
  • Autel Care Premium (Two-Year Services): Offers 2 years of upfront coverage.
  • Autel Care Premium (Three-Year Services): Provides 3 years of upfront coverage.

How do the coverage limits work with Autel Robotics Care Premium?

The coverage limit for a 1-year plan is equal to the retail price of your drone at purchase. For a 2-year plan, it’s twice the retail price, and for a 3-year plan, it’s three times the retail price.

  • You get unlimited free repairs/replacements as long as the cost falls within your coverage limit.
  • Coverage limit sharing is available if you have multiple aircraft activated under Autel Care Premium at the same time; their coverage limits are pooled.
  • For the Autel Care Premium Extension (Second Year), any unused quota from the first year can be extended to the second year.
  • If the cost of a repair or replacement exceeds your remaining coverage limit, you will need to pay the exceeding amount in cash according to the actual quotation.

What are the purchase conditions for Autel Robotics Care Premium plans?
